Almost 17,000 local students applied for places at QUB & the UU, but there are only 8,133 places

A-level results are out tomorrow, so no doubt there will be many sleepless nights tonight. But for many - this will just be the beginning of the struggle for a Uni place as more than 8,000 local students will miss out on a place in Northern Ireland.
