Joe Wright: ‘Keira’s got balls’

Director Joe Wright on his new film Anna Kerenina and its leading lady Keira Knightly. Wright, who has directed Knightly before in Atonement and Pride and Prejudice, says she brings a newfound maturity to the role of Anna playing alongside Jude Law as Karenin. Wright sets Tom Stoppard's screenplay of the classic Leo Tolstoy novel in a theatrical world where the eyes of Russian society prey upon its protagonists’ lives and loves.
