#9: Reading expensive books on the iPad!
iBook or Kindle? #BlindAbilities
I like Kindle books because they have an app for all the platforms I use. Windows and Windows Phone, Android, Mac and PC. I love starting a book on one device and picking right up where I was on another. Amazon, which owns Audible also runs sells where if you buy a Kindle book the same title is available at a discount on Audible. If you use a Braille Display it is my understanding you can read books from the Kindle app on your computer. I don't have one so I don't know about that. DRM is a pain but at least with Kindle books I have more devices to read them on. I will not purchase iBooks because every time I do a price comparison they are much more expensive than what I can get anywhere else. I don't mind spending money but why spend more than necessary?
Okay, it wasn't the Apple store… It was iTunes. ☺️
