Cafe at the Curling Rink
Very much like the sounds of the stones' impacts in the background. Many thanks bulldozia, your recording's now on the UK SoundMap.
Ambient sounds of the cafe overlooking the curling rink at the Dewars Centre, Perth. As well as the conversation, the crockery, the glasses, and the hum of the display fridge, you can just hear the clink of the stones as a young man practises alone on the rink below. Recorded 15 October 2010.
March for the Alternative, protesters passing Downing Street
This recording has strong swearing on it, albeit briefly, and for that reason alone it cannot be included on the UK Soundmap.
Doves, village pond, laughing girl
Thank you very much, that's now on the UK SoundMap. Was there a dovecote by the pond?
The Sound Of Here And Now #2
I've renamed #audiomo Twice!!
A boo about finding my
and an accidental renaming of
@katesparkle Hi! Forgive me for not replying earlier. I hadn't checked the box to be notified of comments and as I usually access Audioboo via the app (where, to the best of my knowledge you can't see comments) I've only just seen your comment! I've stopped using it every day (which I know defeats the purpose of audiomo) but to be honest that's probably because I'm sitting with making a few changes to my blog/twitter and I want to kind of 'integrate' audioboo, my blog and twitter a little so I'm sitting with direction/content/style etc...I love your boos incidentally (I haven't managed to listen to many of anybody's yet....time management eek!!) but there was one about boxes and re-arranging the lounge (I think) that made me laugh and I could relate to. Anyway, long wittery reply but wanted to say thanks :-)
Hi ... I totally understand how you feel. I also struggle with audio. I used to boo when I thought I had something specific to convey. Moving to audio every day is somehow harder to do. But I also can't put my finger on exactly why! I started to boo inspired by the likes of @pilgrimchris @ernmander and @JacquelineB ... but's not always as easy as you would think! I guess this is why radio programme making is an art form!

Many thanks for adding the 'uksm' tag for the UK Soundmap. Unfortunately we cannot yet include your recording as no location has been set for it, and we are unable to do this for you. If you wish, you may do so by clicking on the 'edit' button to the left, then moving the microphone-shaped icon to the right spot on the small Google map, and finally saving.

Laughing So Much It Hurt
I've only heard you laugh once before, Paul, which I think was not yoga laughter. Your laugh is great, really infectious, makes me join in. I hope there'll be more things to make you laugh! :)
