£18m re-opening for Wolverhampton school

A school in Wolverhampton is being officially re-opened this morning -- after a five year refurbishment costing eighteen million pounds.

Coppice Performing Arts School in Wednesfield was one of the first schools get a government grant under the "Building Schools for the Future" programme.

The scheme's now been scrapped - and that left dozens of other schools in the West Midlands without the money they need to be refurbished.
