Postcards for Joshua

A 7-year-old boy from Staffordshire who's undergoing treatment for cancer has received almost a thousand post cards from strangers across the world -- all because he asked one person for help with a school project.

Joshua Johns's family holiday was cancelled due to his intense chemotherapy sessions at Birmingham Children's Hospital -- where he's being treated for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.

Post cards from across the continents, including Antarctica, have arrived through his letter box at his home in Hixon this week, after just one request for help in finding a card to take into school when he returns to classes later this year.
