Medicine Sans Frontiers, also known as doctors without borders, is one of the biggest medical humanitarian agencies working hard to deliver much needed medical services to people affected by the conflict in #SouthSudan.

But MSF is facing serious challenges as the fighting in Unity State continues.

Paul Critchley, MSF country director, told Miraya's Sebit William they were able to provide more than 6,000 medical consultations in March 2015, but the recent fighting in Southern Unity state has forced them to close operations in the area. He says they have begin treating people at their hospital within the United Nations Protection Of Civilians Site in Bentiu, more than 130km away from the conflict.

On Monday, the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) said they had received reports of villages being burned, killings, rapes and child abductions.

Critchley is renewing his call on the Government and Opposition forces to cease all hostilities and stop the suffering of the people of South Sudan immediately.
