About 4.6 million people, that is 40 percent of South Sudan's estimated population, face acute hunger over the next three months, according to the the latest Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) analysis, which was released on Wednesday in Juba. The report confirms fears that unrelenting conflict and the onset of the lean season are intensifying alarming levels of hunger. The Chief technical adviser of UN Food and Agriculture organization Erminio Sacco, says the Food and Agriculture Organization is concerned about the plight of the 3.8 million people affected by food shortages. #FAO, #Southsudan, #Hunger, #IPC,
