IGAD peace deal implementation challenges
Deputy foreign Affairs Minister has said delays by the regional bloc IGAD to convene a workshop to discuss the ceasefire in South Sudan, could have a severe impact on the implementation of the peace deal.
IGAD postponed the workshop designed to work out the details on how security will be maintained in the country during a 30-month transitional period. Speaking on Radio Miraya this morning, Peter Bashir Gbandi said the IGAD workshop was crucial to help the parties understand the procedures of implementation.
