85-year-old caller says it would be kinder to let wife die

85-year-old Alexander's wife is 100. After nursing her through a serious illness for some time she was admitted to hospital on Friday. In a moving call to James O'Brien he says it would kinder if she was helped to die rather than suffer in hospital.
