UNBC professor says making former Conservative chancellor sends the wrong message

Former Conservative cabinet minister James Moore has been appointed chancellor of UNBC. English professor Robert Budde says he reacted with "a mixture of disbelief and concern." He says he worries the appointment sends the wrong message to scientists, arts groups, and First Nations, who sometimes had rocky relationships with the Conservatives while Moore was a politician.
