My friend Kim and her brother playing a gorgeous arrangement of Danny Boy on flute and piano

Kim and I went to her parents' house for supper last night. They have a beautiful grand piano which is always kept nicely in tune, so it's a pleasure to play. I did my fair share of ivory-tickling, but Kim and her brother are both excellent musicians, and they had an impromptu jam session as well. God knows I wish my brother could play an instrument. Anyway, I love the arrangement of Danny Boy that her brother has in one of his music books, so I asked if I could record it. I think Kim is rather ashamed of her tone and lack of breath support in this recording, but she didn't have much of a chance to warm up before she did this, so I figure it's pretty darned good for an extemporaneous performance. She doesn't know yet that I've posted it... pssst, don't tell! :-) Of course, if she really hates it and wants me to take it down, I will. But I think some of you might really enjoy this.
