Reluctant Adults

Spring has sprung. Emotions are high as the sun is out for the first time this year, and the gardens get a bending!!!! Although the weather isn't looking too awesome for Easter Weekend. Lauren and Tim reflect on the past week, and what's in store!

Nowadays kids are spolit. So many toys, so much plastic. This week Tim and Lauren chat all things toys. From playing with Darth Vader on his birthday to never understanding why Sylvanian familes just wont stand up. We're talking toys! Once we turn the washing machine off that is.

Are pets a good addition to a family home? How many pets are too many pets? It turns out Lauren can’t go to a pet shop without leaving with a rodent, or two. Tim named his cat after Idris Elba and the other after Wolverhamptons most famous singer.

This week Lauren and Tim discuss just how many after schools clubs their kids have started….. and quit. How self defence only encourage your kids to actually fight MORE! And why continuing some childhood hobbies into Adulthood is not always a good thing.

This week old Bozza of the Johnson, released the UK's 4 step plan to end our year long quarantine of Covid Restrictions. Lauren and Tim discuss what these measures will mean for them, their families and get right down to planning their road to freedom!!!

Kids just destroy everything! They will work their way through your house destroying everything as they go. Nothing is sacred and In this weeks episode Tim and Lauren dicuss how your home is no longer your safe haven once the little sh*ts come along.

WARNING: Probably wouldn't listen to this one over dinner! One of the biggest parts about raising humans is the fact that at some point you have to start teaching them to use the toilet. And by this point, you will already have dealt with countless nappies, accidents, and poonadoes! In this weeks episode tim and Lauren discuss the joys of toilet training.

It's been a rough week if we're honest. Homeschooling, Kids, feeling a bit crappy, plus working, so we didn't really find time or the energy to put into a proper episode. HOWEVER...whilst texting each other a topic presented it's self perfectly. So we're setting up episode 6 over a cuppa cha!

Is tea time the most stressful time of the day? Lauren and Tim reflect on meal times with their kids past and present. Is tying your child into their chair with a rachet strap too much? How about disguising food? And never mind 5 a day, what about 3 in a week?

What do parents talk about more than anything else? That’s right, sleep! In this weeks episode Lauren and Tim discuss some of their own sleep horror stories, the sleep gadgets which NEVER work and the lengths in which parents will go to in order to get a good nights kip.

As Tim and Lauren approach the end of week 2, Lockdown 3.0, they look back over the last 10 months and discuss how life has been entrapped in their homes with their delightful little terrors (children)!!!
