Socialized...or Socialist? What is Canada?

RANT AWAY: So I'm sitting with a couple of guys from the States yesterday here in Berlin...a business meeting.
They ask me if I'm from Canada. So I go, yes.
They go, so you guys are socialist up there, aren't you?
Two corrections: one, we're not "up there." Norway is up there. Lappland is up there. Archangelsk is "up there." Trust me, Toronto and Montreal aren't "up there."
