The Ghosts of Newgale beach

This is a piece I did for a project whilst at university (Anglia Ruskin) in 2006/2007.

Made several recordings at Newgale Beach in Pembrokeshire. Firstly recorded the stream that flows through the pebble bank. Then recorded myself running along the bank. Also took recordings of the waves and of seagulls. Combined all four recordings in logic to open the piece. This allowed me to manipulate each section. I used Logic, Audiosculpt and a Max/Msp granulator called Grainbox for the effects.
