Action not Words

Words can distract us from the actions if we let them. It’s hard to come to the realisation that what someone says and what they do are completely different. In effect, they’re liars but they can’t see it themselves sometimes. A person I worked with talked about his own ‘values’ which included the importance of value and people but he didn’t live these values. I found it hard to marry the two because it was a lie in effect and it meant I no longer trusted their guidance as I felt it was flawed.
