Golden eagles are one of the most known species of eagles in the northern hemisphere. The population for these birds could be affected by the Highland wildfires in Scotland. The fires are said to have hurt the population by burning the nests, which are filled with eggs. If the egg is destroyed, the bird will never be born and the population could decrease, and the golden eagle could become endangered.
