One of Ireland's leading journalists and broadcasters Olivia O'Leary describes Film 'Mothers Against The Odds' as graphic and moving in exposing what she described as 'Fascism' in the treatment of women. Award winning filmmakers Anne Daly and Ronan Tynan's documentary was produced by Esperanza Productions and is narrated by Oscar winner Brenda Fricker. Made in Ireland and Kenya it offers unique insights into how easily mothers can be treated with extreme cruelty when their rights are not respected.
