It’s so easy to make things complicated isn’t it? I’m always on the look out for how I can improve my own talks. How can I make it more fun for my listeners? How can I give them what they want? How can I get my message across? I’ll keep doing that but at a wedding recently I got the opportunity to reflect on what makes a good speech and it’s these 3 Simple things: Be Genuine, Funny & Short. You don’t need to be perfect, just focus on these 3 things and you’ll have the appreciation of your audience.
