'I'm so proud, but that isn't really an emotion you'd expect'

Gwen Clark wasn't especially close to her mother, Willamina. But when she carried out her mother's last wishes - to the letter - after she died - she found it "the most life-affirming experience imaginable". Back in 1983, Willamina decided she wanted her body to go to medical science.
