It was called a "tongueless, toothless instrument" by it's inventor. And it has been immortalised for over a hundred years in an image where a small dog sits beside it. Richard Scott owns over 40 machines and hundreds of records and old-style cylinders. He helps run The City of London Gramophone and Phonograph Society. But it's not just music Richard owns, he has some rare and surprising recordings.
