WTO Ministerial Conference: Professor Carlos Primo Braga, Director, Evian Group @ IMD

At the WTO Ministerial Conference we spoke to Professor Carlos Braga, Director of the Evian Group @ IMD, about the role of trade in the post-2015 agenda. Carlos argued that trade has an important role in delivering economic development, but it needs to be subject to a proper regulatory environment to reduce negative externalities, ensure the poorest parts of society benefit, and be compatible with a sustainable strategy for development.
