James Joyce: The Dead: A reading by Barry McGovern. The reading by Barry McGovern is an Athena Media production for UCD Humanities Institute. UCD is launching a free iPad application on January 6th, Epiphany, to mark 100 years since the publication of Dubliners. The Dead is set in the first week of January 1904 and is thought to be an annual epiphany gathering by the Morkan sisters in their Usher Island home, along the River Liffey.
