Falling Drinking Rates And An Alcoholics Christmas

A new report published this week by the Office For National Statistics shows that the North East has some of the 'lowest' heavy drinking rates in the country.

The amount we drink as a nation is supposedly falling as well.

But what is life like if you're a recovering alcoholic at Christmas?
