Merton College bells ring in 2014, as heard from Christ Church Meadow, Oxford.

Cast by Christopher Hodson in 1680, the bells of Merton College are the oldest complete ring of eight bells by one founder in the world. They are a true octave in the key of Eb and remain in their original state, except for some retuning and an overhaul of the hanging by Whites of Appleton in 1982. #Merton@750 #HappyNewYear #bells
