The top stories on MFR this week... The row over a nuclear incident in Caithness moves to London. A committee of MPs announce they're investigating the UK Government's handling of the radiation leak inside the Vulcan nuclear reactor. MFR confronts the Senior Civil Servant responsible for the secretive plant - we tell him keeping the contamination a secret has broken local residents' trust. A new treatment is approved - Scotland's NHS becomes the first in Britain to prescribe a tablet. It could help up to half of the country's 10,000 Multiple Sclerosis patients, most of whom live in the North; most commonly in Aberdeen and Inverness And Highland Council increases spending on elderly care, but to afford it, they're digging into their savings. In three years the local authority will be spending £4million a year extra, on top of a one-off investment of £2million.
