'My children were put up for adoption against my will - 'cos I'd been a victim of domestic violence'

Exclusive interview with a mother whose children have been put up for adoption over fears that she may get back with her violent former partner. The woman who we're calling "Lucy" has two young children who she hasn't seen since November. The local authority believe "Lucy" cannot provide a safe environment for the children, because they witnessed some of the abuse, and because she briefly invited her former partner back into her life after agreeing he would not have any contact with the family. But he is currently serving a prison sentence after being convicted of raping her and an injunction is in place preventing him from going anywhere near her when he's released. "Lucy's" words are spoken for her.
