More misery for our front line Health workers this morning. A new payroll system being introduced in our Health trusts has led to some workers, like nurses, being underpaid. Some as much as five hundred pounds. One nurse has told the Nolan show she's not been paid properly in months. That's meant she's had to borrow money to make ends meet.
It's another bad news story for our beleaguered health service where nurses and doctors are under a lot of pressure. Nurse Julie, which is not her real name, has three young children. She says the payroll problems have led to morale sinking to a new low in her department.
