The Attraction of Audio over the rest. #Community #AudioBoo #Audio

Audio is easy, we talk everyday to connect to others and it only requires a microphone to take it to the world. No difficulties compared to writing well. No challenges with video editing and shooting. All the stories of your life are played in the Theatre of Your Mind simply by talking.

But it's scary to reveal so much of yourself.

Your voice betrays who you really are and if we listen for only a short while we'll know you, maybe better than you know yourself. This is why I love audio and why I think more people would gain a lot by embracing it.

Great boo and I agree with your reflections, many of which echo my own experiences. I am one such person who feels safer writing things down... Your boo also reminded me that I talked about my own views a while back but forgot to upload the boo. I have now. :)

Great podcast. I'm a huge fan to audio, going back to my youngest days when I used to listen to some of the great Ali fights with my Dad. I still listen to the radio over the TV. For me it's the best medium and when combined with social technologies it's mind bending to think what's capable. I'm not worried a jot about how it feels. I just talk. That's it. For me, the more I do, the more I enjoy it. If people don't enjoy speaking to a blank screen then so be it. We all gravitate to the things we enjoy. One thing that I would like to see more of is link ups between audio folk to share their experiences. And I don't mean from a commercial perspective. But something just spontaneous. I'm not sure if you've checked out some of the original Julien Smith podcasts but he was way before his time.

Great boo Ian. Wholeheartedly agree! It's a great, honest way of communicating and diarising your life. Most people that I know just don't understand it :-\.
