A stroll in search of sunshine

All afternoon colleagues had talked of the lovely sunshine outside. So, after a day in something approximating an air conditioned environment it was wonderful to step out into the evening air and soak up the... well, I would say sun, were it not for that great orb in the sky apparently taking its leave. Not wanting to let minor disappointments get in the way of a good walk I struck out for Waterloo with the Big Dog anyway, enjoying a wonderful wander beside the Thames, rewarded eventually with a golden glow and a fantastic busker playing beneath the London Eye.
