RSA Weekly Stats 9th of July 2014

I’m Meghann Scully – and I’m reading this week’s road safety numbers. This week the number is 96. That’s how many people have died on our roads so far this year. But this number only scratches the surface. Each one had friends, family and communities around them. Believe me, I lost my brother, who was just 18 when he lost his life on the road. He was sociable, ambitious and so loved. And we’ll never get to see him again. These numbers are real people. Don’t be one of them.
