The artist Ablade Glover has, for decades, gone from canvas to canvas with his palette knife in hand. He creates vivid scenes of market places, carnivals and city skylines. His work has won him much acclaim and he's affectionately known as the grandfather of contemporary Ghanaian art. Now, in his 80th year, Glover's work is being exhibited in London. Focus on Africa's Kim Chakanetsa visited the exhibition, at the October Gallery. She began by asking him what inspires his work.
