The record label Audio Ferox is pleased to announce the release of "I don't know what is Christmas", the debut album of Devya. Devya is the musical project of Devis Simonetti, multiinstrumentalist , artist on the road for several years. Today, hits the market of electronic music with a hard-sounding originals, definitely noticeable even outside of the niche of fans of the genre. Growing up in post-punk scene in the North-East Italian, Devis start in the "new wave" in London at the turn of the new millennium. And it is precisely on British soil that is developing new techniques of synthesis and sampling to devote to self. The sound of "I don 't know what is Christmas", performed and produced entirely by Devis, absorbs and reworks elements of Anglo-Saxon, as the Brit-pop, the industrial and shoegaze. In the 12 songs composed, describing the mechanics of love, meet and woo the distortion of electric bass lines of "Is to 4", the taste post-punk of "The Fly" and the riff with the analog delay of "We are together. "The song that gives name to the album sees the participation of "Yaari" (Francesca Mombelli), whose voice is interwoven with the triangulation of the guitar, the bass and synthesizers. To close the album, the guitars echoed in "The Last Rain", which pour down rain in the release of the end of a stressful relationship. "I don t know what Christmas is," is now available from the best online shops. On the 05/09/2014, will also be launched the single "I PUT MY EYES ON YOU", extracted from the aforementioned album.

" I wrote this song twenty years ago with a friend of my in London....He was call Roy....Roy Dunn.....now his a teacher of english language in a school in Osaka....was so groovy the riff ,we where playng with Lorenzo Bertoli band

at the time called "OMEGA"....a decide to record ,improve & produce the song in the meaning of respect and love for mine ex music friends...is a loves song and reminds me a lot of my ex girlfrieds too.....in the meaning of love...and noise..."
