The battle for your living room

Once upon a time we just used televisions for - well, for watching television really. These days of course we no longer regard the TV as a modern miracle. You can use them to order a pizza, stream a movie and play video games. It's all about making TVs smarter.

Sony has just fired the latest shot in the great battle of the living rooms. PlayStation TV launches today in the US. It's a tiny box which attaches to your existing set, and lets you while away the hours with Playstation games and video streaming - even if you don't have a Playstation console.
