Et les legumes, secours d’la vie, Meritais toutes les prumier prix; La grappe etai grosse comme des preunes, Mais i’n fallait pas en touchier yeunne. . The Show at Saumarez (Park) . When I went to the Show at Saumarez, Weren’t there some things to see. Everthing was well decorated, We didn’t know where to look. . In one of the tents there was fruit, And in another, well sheltered, Rabbits, and some little birds, Some ducks and large turkeys. . And the vegetables, my goodness, All deserved first prize; The grapes were as big a plums, But you mustn’t touch one.
