Enne journas j'fus print d'menjue ,
Et pour me senti en p'ti mue,
J'me gratti, et m'gratti, et m'gratti.

Et pie en jour le long d'la rue,
J'vis en tchan qu'avait menju,
Et i s'gratti, et s'gratti, et s’gratti.

Men grenpaire dit, "J'ai caux, j'en sue,
Et pie decaute j'ai raide menju",
Et i s'gratti, et s'gratti, et s'gratti.

Et comme nous dit, "Qu'a menjue s'gratte,
Guette le tchan et note p'tite catte,
Jusque yau i s’gratte et s’gratte.
