Cheetahs and Pumas are predators that have to conserve energy to survive. Cheetahs are only in motion for 12% of the entire day. Pumas use 2.3 times more energy locating their prey then expected and spend the rest of there day waiting for prey to come by. This shows that Cheetahs and Pumas use effective hunting methods.
