Paul is a people-pleaser. He is always doing favors for his friends. He runs errands for histeachers; he volunteers for everything. And he often feels anxious and afraid. In trying toplease everyone, Paul is hurting himself. He needs to stop and figure out what he wants and needs.

TODAY I’ll remember that I can’t please everyone, and I don’t have to try.
