Loch Tay Boat Song

Mrs Cameron of Inverallort is credited for collecting the melody of this song back in 1870. Sir Harold Boulton ( 1859-1935) , who was a writer of songs in the Gaelic language wrote the lyrics and it appears in his 'Songs of the North' collection. He also wrote lyrics for The Skye boat song.

There is variation of this song played across the Atlantic known as 'Ohio Boat song.'
