A Cumbrian family were on board the Virgin Atlantic jumbo jet which had to make an emergency landing at Gatwick - they've been speaking to Peggy Walker on BBC Radio Cumbria. The Boeing 747 suffered a major landing-gear fault which forced it to return to the airport yesterday. Passengers had to get into the brace position for the landing. Dean Turner and his family from Haverigg in South Cumbria decided NOT to fly again today.
