Consumer Complaints

The national consumer group truthinadvertising.org wants Utahns to have access to consumer complaints.
Under current rules, complaints filed with the Division of Consumer Protection are considered "confidential" unless the State Department of Commerce initiates a formal investigation.
State Senator Curt Bramble (R-Provo) tells KSL he believes there is a problem. Lawmakers plan to introduce a bill during the 2015 legislative session that would increase protections for consumers.
