Northern Ireland's 26 local councils will merge to make 11 super councils soon. But that change has got some people hot under the collar already. Newry and Mourne council is merging with Down district council and this week it emerged there will be massive hikes in memberships fees for those who use Newry swimming pool. That means financial pain for the elderly, disabled and those on benefits. And a local swimming club has been told to pack up and move out.
