A fusion of radical Islam and violent criminality. Should Denmark ban Hizb ut Tahrir?

A majority of Danish MPs are calling for the prohibition of the radical Islamist group Hizb ut Tahrir. The party is already banned in many countries including Germany and Russia. Denmark’s libertarian traditions have been pushed to the limit by the attack two weeks ago by a radicalised gangster,who killed two people at a free expression forum and Copenhagen’s synagogue. Denmark is waiting to hear whether a German judge will prosecute a radical preacher from the city of Aarhus who called for the extermination of the Jews. From Copenhagen Malcolm Brabant reports..
