Staggering Crime Increase in Downtown Los Angeles

LAPD statistics show the number of robberies, burglaries, and assaults have skyrocketed in the Central Division that covers skid row during the first months of 2015. Robberies were up by nearly 92%, burglaries were up by about 140%, and serious assaults were up by nearly 130%.
