John Scanlan, gardener at Wells House, Wexford outlines what you can expect from a tour of the magical Wells House in Wexford. I enjoyed my visit and the insights from a knowledgeable guide added much to the experience. I visited during the Plein Air Festival when a hundred or so artists scattered around the grounds to capture the magnificent surroundings on canvas. He holds copies of the original Robertson's designs bequeathed to the new owners.
