Council leader decides not move staff to its new HQ

Dave Conway, leader of Stoke-on-Trent City Council, is standing by his decision not to move council staff to a new HQ. The authority spent £55 million on the Smithfield development to lead the way in a new business district in the city centre. But the incoming coalition is sticking to its pre-election pledge and only moving some staff to one of two new buildings.

I spoke to the council leader about his decision.
