Back to the top of the hill for my 2000th recording

Who'd have thought that I have been doing Audioboo for five whole years now? In that time I have made all sorts of recordings in various places in this country and beyond. But for my 2000th recording I have returned to the place where it all began, the top of Richmond Hill.

In this recording guide dog Vance and I stroll from the top of the hill to the entrance to Richmond Park, where thousands of cyclists are passing by, taking part in the Prudential Ride London Surrey 100 Sportive cycle ride. If you listen right to the end you will even hear one unfortunate cyclist experiencing a burst tyre at high speed. Thankfully I think he was okay and managed to walk away.
