Governments and policy-makers are being asked to commit to a strategic partnership with the youth to pave way for peace and security in the country. The call was made by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) country representative Dr Yisa Barnaba. He says more than 70 percent of the populations in South Sudan are young people aged below the age of 30. Marked every year on August 12, the International Youth day seeks to honor the actions young people around the world take to improve their well-being and that of their communities. The theme for this year’s celebrations is: “Youth Civic Engagement”. He spoke to our reporter Sebit William in this interview. #Southsudan #Youthpower #IYD2015
