Women Worldwide with Guest Mollie Evans

Aug 21, 2015, 01:34 PM

The host of Women Worldwide, Deirdre Breakenridge, welcomes her guest to the show, Mollie Evans. Mollie is the co-founder of the Baby Vida Oxygen Monitor, a sophisticated yet easy to use device that monitors the oxygen level and heart rate, wirelessly from a baby’s foot. This is a device that sends an alarm, if either of the vitals fall outside of the predetermined ranges.

On the show, Mollie discusses her entrepreneurial journey with her husband to create Baby Vida. She shares the challenges of research and product development; designing a product and then having to start over from scratch. She offers advice to other entrepreneurs about what it takes to bring their dream products to life. Mollie and her husband's hard work paid off with a patented product that gives parents a sense of security and peace of mind.

A little more about Mollie Evans … When Mollie’s baby was born, Mollie did what any mother would do, and checked on him constantly. She had a baby video monitor but it wasn't enough. She began to wonder, “What would it sound like if my baby stopped breathing?” After many sleepless nights and reinforcement from other moms experiencing the same fears, Mollie realized she had to take action. And she did!
