Jazz pianist and vocalist Robin Phillips spoke with Chris Philips on Amy Winehouse

On Monday August 24 Robin Phillips performed for Jazz FM at the special Nomad Cinema screening of the new documentary film 'Amy' about the troubled life and times and lasting music legacy of singer Amy Winehouse at The Royal Academy of the Arts. He joined Chris Philips on air and explained his perspective on Amy and what he was planning for the evening's show to fit the occasion as well as the art the 'vocalese' jazz singing style.
